A(s) pronúncia(s) do R final em canções do início do século XX (1902-1920)

Resumo

This research focuses on the multiple realizations of rothics, in final coda position, using data extracted from songs recorded between 1902 and 1920. The analysis makes use of sociolinguistic methodology (Labov 1994) and the theory of prosodic hierarchy (Selkirk 1994; Nespor & Vogel 1986/ 2007) and aims to comprove the hypothesis that, besides social and linguistics factors, the prosodic structure also plays a relevant role in this variation process.
