Resumo


Résumé: Cet article analyse l’importance de l’oeuvre polémique de Paul Veyne sur l’élégie romaine, dont la réception a été très variée, souvent négative. Après 25 ans de sa parution en France peut-on dire que ce livre mérite encore d’être discuté et surtout d’être indiqué à nos étudiants comme un essai valable sur ce genre littéraire si complexe et controversé?
