Resumo: Historicamente, os museus têm sido flexíveis na adoção de posturas e configurações favoráveis ao desenvolvimento social e humano, refletindo os contextos socioculturais em que estão inseridos. Este artigo lista e descreve algumas práticas museológicas emergentes, bem como as tecnologias que as viabilizam.

Abstract: Historically, museums have been flexible in adopting practices and settings which are advantageous to social and human development. This article lists and describes both some emergent museum practices and the technologies that make them possible.
